  Great place for families, birthday parties, and really everyone! We had 10 kids from 3 families and decided to have a birthday party there. It saved us a some money compared to individual buckets and came with an extra mining hat, gem box, and large stone. The kids age 3-10 all loved to sift through the dirt for gems but so did their parents and grandparents who all decided to get extra buckets of their own. They were happy to let us share some buckets and provided extra shovels. We came away with some really cool rocks and had a lot of fun!
  
  After mining for stones, our family also enjoyed perusing the gift shop upstairs. It has some nice decorative pieces and a wide variety of jewelry ranging from sturdy and inexpensive to fancy and amazing.
